Snowdrop Volunteering weekend 9th & 10th March.
Creating drifts of Snowdrops
We are dedicating the weekend to digging, splitting and moving Snowdrops in our pursuit of creating stunning white drifts across the hillside.
Hoping some of you will like to join in be it for just a few hours or indeed the whole weekend. Any contribution will be very welcome.
You will be amply supplied with, hot drinks, homemade cake and a delicious lunch and of course amusing banter, bird song and the pleasure of returning next year for free to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
It does involve lots of crawling around on you hands and knees and digging so please wear appropriate clothing. This may include a waterproof and certainly sturdy footwear and garden gloves.
We can supply some garden trowels but if you have both a garden trowel and a small sharp spade all the better, please bring them along.
We aim to start at 10am both days.
Please email Gemma if you are interested in joining us.
