The restriction is an insurance requirement rather than a discretionary policy. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, dogs are not permitted within the Sculpture Garden, except for assistance, guide and therapy dogs.

For visitors travelling with dogs, we can recommend local dog walkers and pet sitters who may be able to provide care during your visit.

For our Summer Sculpture Exhibition, there is usually no need to book.

Some seasonal events like our Snowdrops opening in mid-winter, special openings and workshops may require advance booking, so please check the relevant event information before travelling.

We are located on the A466 between Tintern and Brockweir, directly opposite The Old Station, Tintern.

The Sculpture Garden is built on the natural slopes of the Wye Valley and includes a mixture of level lawns, gravel paths and steeper areas.

Many sculptures can be viewed from accessible routes, although some areas of the garden involve uneven ground and gradients.

Visitors with mobility requirements are encouraged to speak with us before their visit so we can advise on the most suitable access options.

The Sculpture Garden is an outdoor art exhibition and garden rather than a playground. Children must be supervised at all times.
