Sanctuary Sessions

Move. Breathe. Connect.

Sanctuary Sessions is the wellbeing programme at Wye Valley Sculpture Garden, bringing together experienced practitioners who share a passion for helping people reconnect with themselves through nature.

Held on days when the sculpture exhibition is closed, these small group sessions allow participants to experience the tranquillity of the gardens in a peaceful and restorative setting.

Our programme begins with:

Qi Gong & Soma Breathwork with Andy Squiff

These guided sessions combine the ancient practice of Qi Gong with Soma Breathwork to encourage relaxation, improve energy flow and cultivate inner calm.

Participants are also invited to spend time in quiet reflection within the gardens, allowing the benefits of the practice to continue long after the session ends.

Garden Yoga with Siân Rule

Practised beneath the trees and surrounded by birdsong, Woodland Yoga combines mindful movement, breathwork and relaxation within the natural landscape.

Spending time outdoors while practising yoga has been shown to reduce stress, improve flexibility, support mental clarity and deepen our connection with the natural world.
