Form, beauty and light are the essence of his work which is heavily influenced by nature and natural forms.
He works mainly in stainless steel, glass and bronze. Surface and colour have an important role in nature, helping to define both structure and purpose.
Ian reflects this in his sculptures where form, texture and colour breathe life into solid, inanimate materials.
A member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, Ian exhibits in Europe 3and the UK and is regularly commissioned by corporate and public bodies as well as many private clients.
